Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica FAQs
November 3-9, 2019
WHEN & WHERE?
Sunday, November 3 – Saturday, November 9, 2019.
Villa in Mal Pais, Costa Rica.
HOW DO WE GET THERE?
Getting to the retreat is part of the adventure! We suggest splitting your travel to/from the villas up over two days. On day one, fly into San Jose International Airport and take a taxi to a charming, traditional Costa Rican hotel, Hotel Aeropuerto (mention Blue Earth Yoga for a discount). On day two, take a taxi from the hotel to the ferry, and a taxi from the ferry to the villas. Please note, you are responsible for booking your own travel arrangements. We will share more details and suggestions with confirmed participants as the retreat date approaches.
WHO ARE OUR HOSTS?
Peter Mico, a master teacher with more than 20 years of experience, is uniquely qualified to guide you through the retreat.
WHY NICOYA PENINSULA, COSTA RICA?
Nicoya, an 80-mile peninsula just south of the Nicaraguan border, is the heart of an original Blue Zone discovered by Dan Buettner. Getting there is part of the adventure! After flying into San Jose, you will take two taxis and a ferry down to the incredible villas. Join us this fall as we practice yoga and meditation, eat like healthy centenarians, explore the local area, and immerse ourselves in a culture that celebrates purpose, family, and sunshine!
